The name of this mod seems kind of boring, but when you think about the huge amount of trees and flora in this game, it is important to make those textures as detailed as possible. I think this mod delivers well.
The Good
At a quick glance, some of these textures appear to be photorealistic. I appear to get no slowdowns. I get 40-100 FPS on max settings @ 1680x1050 resolution.
The Bad
This mod is really well made, but if you look at the textures, they are not 3d at all, they are simply flat. Like the flowers, they are just added to the textures of the leaves. You will see that in the screenshots below

Improved Trees & Flora 2 v1.0
This is a retexture of several trees,flowers,plants and fungus with 1024x1024,1024x512 & 512x512 new textures.This set also includes reworked textures from the first pack and two reworked flora textures from the improved doors and flora pack. I have included a new canopyshadow texture to make the forest darker and more realistic.If you do not like the new texture (comparison pic included with readme) go to the data/texture/trees and delete canopyshadow. As with the last pack there could be a performance hit(more shuttering) as new section load. I did not redo one mushroom the cloudedfunnelcup.I have included an alternate texture that does not match the original ,but I like the texture so I use it. If you want to try the texture (comparison pic included with readme) just go to the data/textures/plants and remove the "alt" from the end of mshmclouldedfunnelcup01alt & mshmclouldedfunnelcup01_nalt.
installation :

unzip or drag to the oblivion/data folder. If asked to overwrite, choose "Yes".
Be sure to update your OBMM setting.The picture included shows the proper setting for the OBMM when updating.
uninstall :

(flower,fungus&plants)
go to the data/textures/ and delete the plants folder.
(trees&leaves)
go to the data/textures/ and delete the trees folder.
(meshes)
go to the data/meshes/plants and delete florafoxglove01,floraprimrosepurple & florapeony01
