Wow when you leave the oblivion mod scene for awhile you miss out on a lot. Something like this dragon mod would only be a dream a year ago. I had a little trouble getting this dragon to fly, but I'm a n00b and never considered pressing the sprint button while looking up... lol
The Good
Wow, there is a lot of good. The sound is all good, the model is great (but not perfect), and just the whole concept is very well put together. You can mount it, have it follow you, or just make it stay in a position. It will fight by your side as well; this would make epic battles worthy of the internets. It was easy to install, I just copied everything to the data directory like usual, and to summon the dragon all you do is use a simple spell.
The Bad
It is hard to pick out anything bad in this mod, you can tell a lot of time was put into it, but one bad thing about this mod is on older computers, when you start flying, your computer would have a lot to process with all the stuff below. I get a solid 30 FPS (v-sync on), but when I was recording video it dropped to the mid 10s. Nothing bad really, that is expected with recording at high resolution like I do.
