Alright, this one is for Uriel and Viktor. We have a school project that you need to plan a dream vacation to a country. The teacher told me the more exotic and unheard of the better. Well, I thought that I would do it on Croatia, where my buddy Uriel lives. We have to visit historical locations, plan meals, etc. So, I was hoping if Uriel and Viktor could help me with a few minor questions. Firstly, are there any historical (battle) locations outside Pazin? Where else in Croatia would some interesting locations be? Are there any plays, festivals, etc. that I should 'visit'? Anything else would be much appreciated. Thx Fugu

Well, ok. So let me tell u some general facts bout Croatia. It's a country placed along the Adriatic sea and inside the continent (Has a shape of a dragon flying). Its coast has many islands and beautiful beaches. So if u ever come to Croatia id recommend this type of travel. First, you'd have to come to Istra. It's a half-island, and one of the regions of Croatia. During the history it was controlled by many other emperors, like romans, Venice, Austria, Italy, Germany, and after the WWII it was united with the rest of Croatia. It's capital city is Pazin. It's a beautiful land with all types of terrain, from sea shores, streams, flat land, to mountain cliffs. Pula is the biggest city, and the largest historical source in Istra (it's famous for it's arena - something like the coloseum in Rome). In Istra we have a whole lot of festivals, but id say the best ones are the "village parties" where local people organize music, fairs, galleries, food and drinks. Most of those are organized in the summer. There are also all sorts of other stuff organized like (science fiction convention in Pazin, held in March, Astro-fest, held in June, many concerts of worldwide famous artists) In Visnjan, during the summer an astronomical and science schools are organized, which are also known all over the world. The inland of Croatia has its capital city Zagreb and Slavonija (another region of Croatia) which was unfortunately caught by the Country War during the nineties. Southern from Istra there is another region called Dalmacija. Many many tourists visit Dalmatia (they often know where Dúbrovnik is, but not that it is in Croatia). Its a really beautiful region, with beautiful beaches, amazing old cities filled with history and friendly and kind of lazy people. In Dalmatia there was created this specific type of a choir called KLAPA, and anyone who comes to Croatia should hear them singing, its very impressive. The people of Croatia speak in a variety of dialects so if they aren't learned the standard Croatian language they often misunderstand each other. There are many famous Croats like Nikola Tesla - The inventor of electricity, radio, and other big scientific ideas, Faust Vran?i? - Inventor of the idea of a parachute Ru?er Boškovi? - He did many things Lavoslav Ruži?ka - Famous chemist Eduard Slavoljub Penkala - Inventor of a pen Janica Kosteli? - The greatest skier of all times Goran Ivaniševi? - A famous tennis player - he won the Wimbledon and many many others which i can't remember all now.... All in all u should even come for real:)

Hey Uriel, what's the best hotel in Pazin, the search engine only found ones that are 18km away at best. I'm about 30% done, I've got a hotel in Pula, a car, where I'm going, and stuff to do. That's it.
