Alright, here's my first choice:
Lenovo K3014F-U Desktop PC
Intel celeron Dual Core E1200 CPU
Windows Vista home premium
2GB DDR2 Memory
320GB hard drive
DVDRW/-RAM optical drive
16 in one card reader
Web Camera and VeriFace
year's warranty

It costs 487.99$
If you pay an extra 70$ then you get 500GB hard drive, 4GB DDR2, and Intel Pentium instead of Celeron.

The next one:
Acer Veriton Powerhouse Desktop PC
Windows XP professional (if Vista sucks like they say it does)
AMD athlon X2 2.2GHz Processor
Dual Core technology
1GB DDR2 Memory
160GB SATA Hard disk drive
DVDRW/DVD -RAM Optical Drive
ATI Radeon X1250
WLAN 802.11 b/g
High Def Audio
Lan support

It costs 529.99$

The only thing I'm really worried about is the Radeon Graphics card. It doesn't tell you what the Lenovo has, so it must suck. I figured I could just buy the 470 dollar Lenovo and get a good graphics card at Future shop and get moar space for the same amount of cash. Keep in mind that I only have 600$ to spend.

they are both total rip offs... core 2 duo is the standard these days and you can get a good computer for under 600.... where are you looking?

My father tells me it's a kit you put together yourself, is that a lie? I know no one who knows how to put together a computer, scratch one if that's true...
Plus, Vista is an extra 200 bucks, I don't have the cash for it. Still thinking 'bout the Lenovo. And my dad says he'll give me 150$ for my old computer, so now I've got 750 to spend. I'll try to find a similar one for the same price with a core 2 or if I'm lucky core 4.
