5) The tragedy was on September 11, or 9/11 as it is now known.
9 + 1+ 1 = 11
6) The date is equal to the US emergency services telephone number 911. 9 + 1 + 1 = 11.
Well, these ones are obvious. The date is the emergency telephone number, who didn't know that?
But this:
"For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced: for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah and there was peace.
"That verse is number 9.11 of the Quran.
That freaked me out. It sucks that I can't remember where I saw something like this, it was a quote from someone during the Crusades, it went along the lines of; There will never be peace here. The Holy Lands will always be torn between the faiths of the world.
Something like that anyways. When I read it, I instantly thought, "My god, the US in Iraq!!"
Another thing: This war was actually started at least 50 years ago, or even as far back as the Crusades, giving truth to the above quote. The 50 year old one is the British Mandate after WWII, when Britain was bringing European Jews to Palestine (now in Israel). The Muslims got pissed and started a rebellion, which was quelled, but later the Jews got angry that Britain was still holding government over the place and started terrorising the Brits and Muslims themselves. Eventually Britain left because of a lack of funds, leaving Palestine to be ran over by Israel whenever that happened.
Replace Britain with the US, and Jews with Israel, and you've pretty much got the modern conflict. The US is the one trying to hold the government together, and the Muslims are pissed that Isreal took their country. Freaky.

That's pretty much the extent of my knowledge on politics.
