Now, I have just managed to notice this. In all areas in the outside world of Oblivion (tamriel, not the actual Oblivion), there are no ground patches that are on an angle smaller than 90o. So therefore, in the game, you can't have cliffs or gorges or realistic landscapes. Would anyone care to tell me why that is? It's pretty stupid if they couldn't program that in there.

Have no idea. I think that it just changes the 'ground' face to 270o after you go under 90o. But I haven't been able to use it (although I have it)

I think I know why. For some reason, the engine can't generate two overlapping ground patches. Maybe it has something to do with the bump map on the outside, because you can have tunnels and shit overlapping on the inside (of caves). Then again, the 'inside' objects aren't ground patches, and usually are floating above water, which would be considered the actual ground. Wait, I'm confused Tongue.

Another thing I noticed, you can't have sharp edges (so I've seen). Which also makes for unrealistic cliffs or rocky hillsides. In fact, I bet there's a review on this somewhere, but I'm too lazy and don't have the time to search for it. There's prolly lots of other engine bugs, I don't have a clue what they are though. If you guys find any let me know. I'd like to see if they get a new engine for Shadow Realm
