I'm here mainly to make my copy of Oblivion as realistic as possible, from the human perspective. I'm constantly looking for mods that'll make the inhabitants of Cyrodiil seem to be actually living, breathing, and making decisions on their own. Ones like "Actors In Charge" help forster that illusion. There's even a mod that places a toilet in the shack in the Imperial City. Yeah, yeah, I know, our characters don't need to "go," but they don't really need to sleep, or eat, or interact with one another, either. Yet we like it better when we see them doing those things, now don't we? A simple outhouse mod that could be dropped in strategic spots around the towns, villages, and such and the locals would enjoy the breezes coming off the nearby mountains all the better. I'd also like to see working NPC's, not just appropriately-dressed figures standing idle beside an anvil, a counter, or wherever. Pick that hammer up and use it, Smithy! Further, how about the service personnel who make and keep the buildings and homes livable? Masons, plumbers, carpenters, glass-blowers, etc. And how come no one has ever written an extension mod for kitchens? Those characters who all reisde in homes and castles have dining rooms, eating utensiles, even napkins (well, ...... in Morrowind, but for some reason, folks in Oblivion don't feel the need to wipe their mouths or hands after eating), yet no places to prepare the food, or any cooks, chefs, or even wait-staff. It's cool for a non-christian such as myself to note that a character in the cold northern town up near Cloud Ruler Temple speaks of just shacking up with her man in the "old" Nordic manner (Yah, Pagans!), but don't any of these priests in those big, fancy churches ever perform marriages? For that matter, why is it that those same priests --existing in the violent and death-ridden world of Tamriel-- are never seen conducting the burial rituals that bereaved family members would certainly insist upon? What with everyone SO totally frightened by the heavy-handed (and irrational) decisions of the ESRB, as well as the braying of a complete ass like Jack Thompson, I'm not even going to mention the possiblity of realistic portrayal of human sexual activites in the Elder Scrolls universe. And don't get me started on fart jokes. But I hold out hope.
